Propane or Natural Gas

Fiesta's range of barbeques includes propane and natural gas models. It is important to take the time up-front to determine what fuel method will best meet your requirements, for safety reasons, you cannot convert your barbeque's fuel method.

Both fuels are safe, efficient, and economical methods to heat your barbeque and cook your food. Natural gas barbeques will generally cost more than propane barbeques, but this amount is offset by the fact that you will not have to purchase a propane tank. Fiesta recommends the use of high-quality, Canadian made Wolfedale Engineering Limited propane gas cylinders for use with our barbeques. Factors to Consider in Determining your Fuel Type:

Availability:

Propane is available across the country. While the distribution of Natural Gas continues to expand, it is not available in every community across Canada.

Location:

Where you plan to locate your barbeque could also factor into your fuel choice. Propane barbeques are portable so they are ideal for locations away from the house or at the cottage. They can also be moved around on your patio or deck to accommodate different weather conditions or entertaining requirements. The location of a natural gas barbeque is dictated by the position of the main shut off valve and the length of the quick disconnect hose.

Key Barbeque Features to Consider

Propane Barbeques:

Look at the ease in changing and attaching your propane tank. When you consider the number of times during the lifespan of your barbeque that you will change your tank, it is a feature worth researching. Fiesta recommends the use of high-quality, Canadian made Wolfedale Engineering Limited propane gas cylinders for use with our barbeques.

The ideal system is Fiesta's Drop & GoTM tank caddie system, available on our Grand Prix cart. It allows you to simply insert the tank into a well and hook up the hose, without the need for any additional fasteners.

The E-Z Lock propane resin bracket found on all Fiesta barbeques with an XLR8 or E-Z Q cart slides up easily when your want to remove or install a propane tank and then slides down locking the tank in place. Made from resin, so if will never rust. It's so E-Z!
